Flagging in consigment of drugs
The County Government of Uasin Gishu today received a consignment of drugs worth over Ksh 80 million.
H.E Governor Jackson Mandago received and flagged off vehicles ferrying the drugs that will be distributed across the County’s health facilities.
About 121 health facilities across the County will be supplied with the drugs. The drugs will last the facilities until January 2018.
Speaking after flagging off the trucks carrying the drugs, Governor Mandago said the drugs come as a big boom for Uasin Gishu County.
“The delivery of drugs means that my Government does not wait but ensure that essential services are consistent,” said Mandago.
National drugs dealer, KeMSA, delivered the medical supplies at the County headquarters.
Also speaking the County Executive Committee Member (CeC) in charge of Health Services Margaret Chepkwony, said health facilities across the county will be fully equipped to offer quality services to the locals.
